Hoover-Minthorn House Museum


Herbert Hoover, thirty-first President of the United States, lived here with his uncle and aunt,Dr.  John and Laura Minthorn, from 1885 to 1891. An Italianate-designed house built in 1881 contains many original furnishings, photographs, and souvenirs of Hoover's boyhood.
